About The Quiet Hub
What is The Quiet Hub?
The Quiet Hub is a simple home for background audio — music, noise and natural sound chosen or created to sit behind what you are doing, rather than compete with it.
Background audio designed not to demand your attention.
Whether you are studying, working, reading, sleeping, meditating or simply trying to make a room feel calmer, The Quiet Hub is designed to make choosing a background straightforward. Pick the kind of sound you want, choose your streaming service and keep doing what you were doing.
Choose a sound, open its playlist, then continue listening on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music.
Three kinds of Quiet Hub content
The library is organised by how each collection is made — so it is clear what is curated, what is original, and what is still evolving.
Music
Curated music playlists
Peaceful Piano, Elegant Jazz and Lofi Dreams are curated music playlists built from tracks by independent artists. The aim is not to claim that one genre is scientifically best, but to provide different levels of musical movement for listeners who like music in the background.
Original
The Quiet Hub original soundscapes
White Noise, Pink Noise, Brown Noise and Forest Sounds contain original soundscapes released by The Quiet Hub.
A continuous soundscape is prepared as a sequence of consecutive tracks of roughly three minutes each, without intentional fades between them. The aim is to let the sound continue smoothly while still working within normal album and streaming-platform formats. Playback continuity can depend on the streaming service, app and playback settings.
Ambient
Curated ambient sound
Creek Sounds, Rain Sounds and Thunder Sounds are currently curated ambient playlists featuring sounds selected from other creators.
These playlists are currently curated from ambient recordings and sounds we like from other creators. The long-term goal is to replace them gradually with original Quiet Hub soundscapes as we create recordings that meet the same standard.
